Founded in October 1972, as a proprietary Firm namely Runa Industries (Chemicals) is a brainchild of Late Mr. Shrikant N. Ranade, who was a Technocrat having 4 decades of rich experience in the field Purification of Chemicals. He served the Bhabha Atomic Research Center as a Scientific Officer for 10 long years before venturing into manufacturing Laboratory Chemicals under the brand name ‘RUNA’.
Today we are Private Limited entity and one of the best managed organizations among the small scale sector. The ownership rights of RUNA are with the family of Late Mr. Shrikant N. Ranade & Mr. Manish S. Ranade the young dynamic leader in the next generation is at the helm of the affairs. We are strategically located on Dombivli M.I.D.C. Industrial area, just 50 kms. away from Mumbai (Bombay ), the commercial and industrial capital of India.
The RUNA brand Laboratory Chemicals were used in R&D laboratories of various industries like Pharmaceuticals, Agro & Pesticides, Paint & Dyes, Institutions like Medical Colleges or Hospitals as well as Universities for many years.
The client list of RUNA includes both Indian & Multinational organizations, some of whom have patronized RUNA from the date of its inception.
In 2009 we have diversified to Pharmaceutical grade Solvents, now it is the main activity. For the company, since then bottles packing has been discontinued & Tanker, Drum Packing Introduced.
